Larger than the United States in terms of land, but with only 10% of the US population, Canada is a frontier with endless opportunities for adventure, exploration and sight-seeing. It's cities are also thriving multicultural centers. Some people expect Canada to be a blander version of the USA, but that is not the case at all. Canada's wild northern frontier, which has etched itself into the national psyche, and its edginess between it's French and British traditions have created a country that is decidedly different from its neighbor.
Some highlights for visiting are the Cabot Trail (Nova Scotia ), Québec City (Québec), the Polar Bears in Churchill (Manitoba), The Rockies (Alberta), the Great Bear Rain Forest (British Columbia) and Victoria Harbor (British Columbia).
Canada is a land of friendly people and vibrant cities, plus mountains, fjords, bays, rivers, and inlets. It's wilderness is one of the last places where grizzly bear are still found in large numbers, plus salmon, killer whales, otters, and porpoises and more.
